The Alberta Innovation Voucher Program is an Alberta Advanced Education and Technology two-year pilot initiative to assist technology and knowledge-driven small businesses with their commercialization process. Businesses can apply for vouchers up to $50,000 in value. As one of the program’s approved service providers, Cybera will partner with eligible businesses to participate in this unique opportunity.
Criteria of an eligible business:
• technology or knowledge driven
• registered in Canada
• conducts at least 50 percent of its business in Alberta
• 50 or fewer staff
• last year's gross income did not exceed $5,000,000
Why work with Cybera?
Cybera is a non-profit organization providing leadership in integrating and sustaining investments in cyberinfrastructure technologies. With access to valuable academic and infrastructure resources and expertise, Cybera enables companies to advance research and development and innovate in priority areas including health, energy, resource management and information and communications technology.
Cybera's qualified services
Companies can work with Cybera to use these resources to research, test and develop new technologies, or to launch their products in the most effective and innovative ways. Cybera offers specialized project management and consultation services regarding:
