Cyber Summit 2019

Thank you for joining us at Cyber Summit 2019!

The theme of Cyber Summit 2019 was: “Mission: Accessible”.

Accessibility is a broad term, with different meanings to different people. For a developer, it means having access to the code and API behind digital tools and services in order to create and innovate. For rural citizens, it’s about having the opportunity to participate in the modern digital economy. For students, it’s about having the digital literacy skills to take on the challenges of an AI and automated workforce. And for people with visual, hearing, motor, or cognitive challenges, it means having the ability to use the same tools and services as everyone else.

Cyber Summit 2019 explored the different issues of modern “accessibility,” and what solutions exist to put all Canadians on a level playing field.
