Andrew Hessel to discuss “Data for Life” at Cyber Summit

Autodesk Distinguished Researcher Andrew Hessel is a future-oriented catalyst in biological technologies who is helping industry, academics, and regulators better understand the changes happening in life science.

At this year's Cyber Summit, Hessel will discuss trends in digital biology, and give a fascinating insight into his work at the forefront of life science.

A faculty member at Singularity University, Hessel co-chaired the Biotechnology and Bioinformatics track until 2012 and now helps startup biotechnology companies organize and launch. He is also a fellow at the University of Ottawa, Institute for Science, Society, and Policy, and is founder of the world'€™s first cooperative biotechnology company, the Pink Army Cooperative, which is working to create open source therapies for cancer.
