Over 80 people are currently learning and networking at Cybera Summit 08: Driving Business Innovation.
The conference began this morning with an eventful keynote address, as speaker Paul Strong was forced to deliver his talk via videoconference after his flight from San Francisco was cancelled. The staff at the Banff Centre were quick to respond, and the speech went on virtually as planned.
Attendees on Monday attended a cloud computing workshop, a cyber-venture opportunities forum and a special Banff edition of DemoCamp. Over the lunch hour, would-be entrepreneurs and industry reps were able to pitch their ideas to angel investors and executives at Cybera's very first speed networking event.
The day was capped off with a reception at the Banff Centre.
