Cybera welcomes new staff

Cybera is pleased to welcome three new staff members to the Edmonton office:

David Ackerman, Senior Developer
David Ackerman is a software developer and University of Alberta graduate. His career path has taken him through enterprise software, social networking, digital avatars, and even some brief adventures in telecommuting to Silicon Valley, CA. Most recently, he has been involved with cloud-based web development, working with everything from virtual server setup to front-end design. Andrew Nisbet, Developer
Born and raised near Toronto, ON, Nisbet’s interest in computing began in the ’70s. He earned a diploma in Technical Illustration from Sheridan College and worked for several companies while teaching himself computer hardware in his spare time. In 2006, he enrolled in the undergraduate Computing Science program at the University of Alberta and he graduated in November 2011. Nisbet is proud to be joining Cybera for the next chapter in his career.

Kylie Robertson, Communications Assistant
Kylie Robertson is the newest member of the Cybera Communications and Outreach team. Robertson graduated from Mount Royal University in April 2011 with a Bachelor of Communication, majoring in journalism. Fresh from academia, she is looking forward to putting her education to work. Outside of the office, Robertson enjoys spending her free time reading and writing, practicing her springboard diving, or participating in a relaxing hot yoga class.
