GeoChronos PI Participates in Greenhouse Gas Monitoring Satellite Project
Alberta researchers are taking part in the new Greenhouse Gases Observing Satellite project, a Japanese-led international initiative to better understand greenhouse gas activites. Dr. Arturo Sanchez, a Principal Investigator for Cybera’s GeoChronos, is one of the researchers involved. Sanchez and his colleague, Petr Musilek, will be using the information provided by the satellite to study emissions produced by oilsands operations and where the admissions end up.
