Manning Awards nominees on show at Cybera

Cybera played host to the Southern Alberta nominees of the 2011 Manning Innovation Awards, a national event celebrating the inventiveness of Canadians.

Brad Murray of Poynt Corporation and Ross Mitchell of Calgary Scientific gave a demonstration of their smart phone apps — one provides a free local search application for business and booking elements, while the other can be used by medical staff to instantly view 3D scans.

Talks were also given by Geoff Gosling, team lead of Product Design and Engineering at DIRTT and winner of the 2010 Manning Innovation Award, and David Mitchell, President of the Ernest C. Manning Awards Foundation.
