heck Out the New Site for Summit 09 Highlights and the 2008-09 Cybera Annual Report
(October 27, 2009 – Calgary, AB) – Coming off of its highly successful event, Summit 09: Partnerships in CI Development, which ran October 12-16 in Banff, AB, Cybera is pleased to announce a new look for its website and the release of the 2008-09 Cybera Annual Report.
Alberta companies have another opportunity to apply to the Alberta Innovation Voucher Pilot Program. These vouchers will help Alberta entrepreneurs develop their technology-based ideas into marketable products or services. The two-year pilot initiative is assisting technology and knowledge-driven small businesses with commercialization. As one of the program’s approved service providers, Cybera will work with a number of gaming, technology, cloud computing and media companies to develop voucher applications for new, leading-edge products and ideas. The innovation vouchers are available for up to $50,000 in value. Alberta Advanced Education is now reviewing applications and will notify successful companies by mid-March. The Summit 09 Registration Desk will be open in the Max Bell Building at The Banff Centre starting Sunday, October 11 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Early arrival registrants are welcome to check-in and pick up their delegate packages during this time. Otherwise, the Registration Desk will be open starting at 8:00 Monday morning. Registration will remain open until Thursday, October 15. To register during the week, please check in at the on-site Registration Desk and pay via credit card. You may also register and pay ahead of time online before you arrive.
