Gaining access to free (or at least very cheap) cloud resources to kickstart innovation

On March 4, 2013, TEC Edmonton will host a Lunch & Learn series with John Shillington, Vice President, Technology at Cybera, who will describe the computing resources available to accelerate the growth of businesses in the province.

He will discuss — and demonstrate —€” CANARIE's Digital Accelerator for Innovation and Research (DAIR), the Cybera incubator cloud, and how to accelerate your company's R&D at no (or very low) cost by accessing these cloud resources through Cybera's high speed network. These initiatives are part of the company's Broadband Testbed Pilot.

This session is geared towards entrepreneurs, innovators, and small-to-medium sized enterprises looking to exploit the cloud for research and development.
