ShareIT offers its members IT hardware, software, licensing, and services all at a lower cost.

The ShareIT shared procurement program is managed by Cybera, and led by Alberta and Saskatchewan's post-secondary sector. K-12 school boards, as well as municipalities and municipal affiliates are able to join and become consumers of any existing procurement or training service agreements.

IT Services Roster

The initial three-year term is scheduled to conclude on April 30, 2026. Following a retrospective review, Cybera has exercised the option to renew the existing vendor agreements for an additional two years, extending the final term to April 30, 2028.

Saskatchewan membership expansion

We are pleased to announce that this renewal now officially includes provisions for members from Saskatchewan to utilize these contracts.

Notice of open intake for new vendors

To maintain compliance with the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) and the New West Partnership Trade Agreement (NWPTA), Cybera is reopening the roster to new potential vendors. While current prequalified vendors will see their agreements extended automatically, this ensures that the market remains competitive and open to new suppliers.

Our sourcing process complies with the applicable Canadian trade agreements for the Municipalities, Academia, School Boards, and Health Regions sector.

  • Develop business case for approval from Oversight Committee based on opportunity identification research
  • Identify members who could participate in project
  • Engage members to establish a working group

  • Develop RFx strategy and direction
  • Define requirements and scope with working group
  • Draft RFx and finalize documents with participating members

  • Publish RFx notices on APC, SaskTenders, and Bonfire, in accordance with trade agreement standards
  • Issue addendums and Q&A documents, if applicable

  • Working group members evaluate the responses
  • Consensus meeting scheduled with working group
  • Award recommendation goes to oversight committee for approval

  • Oversight committee approves award recommendation
  • Negotiate details and finalize agreement with preferred proponent(s)
  • Host kick-off session with selected proponent(s)

  • Analyse quarterly reporting from vendors
  • Conduct ongoing business reviews and issue resolution with vendor partners
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements
  • Work with vendor and participating members to derive maximum value
