Join Us This Fall To Discuss Technological Accessibility!
Mark your calendars for October 28-30, 2019!
Cyber Summit 2019 will take place October 29-30 at the Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge, nestled in Alberta’s Rocky Mountains. Pre-conference workshops will be held on October 28.
This year, the conference is themed: “Mission: Accessible”.
Accessibility is a broad term, with different meanings to different people. For a developer, it means having access to the code and API behind digital tools and services in order to create and innovate. For rural citizens, it’s about having the opportunity to participate in the modern digital economy. For students, it’s about having the digital literacy skills to take on the challenges of an AI and automated workforce. And for people with visual, hearing, motor, or cognitive challenges, it means having the ability to use the same tools and services as everyone else.
Cyber Summit 2019 will explore the different issues of modern “accessibility,” and what solutions exist to put all Canadians on a level playing field.
Stay tuned for more details, including the call for speaker submissions!
